Instructions to Authors
Paper submission:
Initial submission should be single column, font 12 point Times New Roman and one-inch margins on all sides. The manuscript should not exceed 10 single-space pages (including figures, tables, references and appendix).
Title should be bold and aligned to center.
Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
The paper should include a set of 4 keywords to indicate the paper's content
First level headings are to be numbered (ex: 1.) with bold font and aligned to center. Second level headings are to be numbered (ex: 1.1.) with bold font and aligned to the left.
Tables and figures must be numbered and should appear in the text right after the paragraph in which they were referenced.
References and citations in the text must follow the APA Style.
All manuscripts must be submitted in English and should be edited for spelling and grammar.
All papers are subject to blind review. Please remove any identifying information from the paper prior to submission.
All submissions must be original work that has not been published or is currently under consideration for publication by another journal.
Posters, Abstracts and Research-in-Progress submissions:
Submission should be one page, single column, font 12 point Times New Roman and one-inch margins on all sides. The abstract should include:
- Title
- Type of submission (Poster, Abstract or Research-in-Progress)
- Abstract (500 words maximum + one figure or diagram).
All abstracts are to be submitted as paper presentations to Easychair.
We will also have a Student Poster Competition. Please discuss your poster with your faculty mentor. The show walls for posters are approximately 47"w x 72"h. However, the common size for posters is 42" x 48".

How to submit:
Papers and Abstracts must be submitted through the Easy Chair website at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=asas2015.
All abstracts are to be submitted as paper presentations to Easychair.
There will be NO submission by email.
Steps to create an account on EasyChair:
- Enter the Captacha text
- User information (first name, last name, email)
- Check email received with account information,and Click on the link in the body of the email to create the account. That's just to validate that the email exists
- Complete the account information form, including Username, company, website, phone, address, city, state, country, and password. That will complete the process to create account. Now, you can login on the EasyChair for ASA Symposium 2015
Steps to submit a paper:
- Login on the EasyChair for ASA Symposium 2015 (see link above)
- You have to accept the Terms of Service before using anything in the system
- Check the option "I agree to these Terms of Service" and click on the button "Continue"
- To submit something, click on the button New Submission (top left of the page)
- Complete the submission form and upload the PDF file
- The EasyChair System will send an email confirming the submission
