This event allows the presenter the opportunity to disseminate their research to colleagues in the university and the surrounding communities with the purpose of sparking points of collaboration and future growth.
With support from the Dean’s Office, the CHHS Research Committee will host the CHHS Research Flash Talks on the evening of Wednesday, April 15, 2020, starting at 5:00 PM (refreshments) at the Varsity Center, 418 S. Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, IL. Flash Talk presentations begin at 6:00 PM. Local community members are also invited to attend.
Each faculty and staff member interested in participating will be given 3-5 minutes to briefly introduce their current, concluding, or proposed research to an audience consisting of interested faculty, staff, and community members from both the University and regional area. In addition, faculty posters and textbooks are invited for display. Student submissions are welcomed and will be displayed as poster presentations.
