Driving Directions
The Transportation Education Center [TEC] is located about four miles northwest of Southern Illinois University’s main campus. The address is 545 N. Airport Road, Murphysboro, IL 62966.
No transportation will be provided between the SIU Main Campus and the Transportation Education Center for the Symposium. Please also note that the Saluki Express does not have scheduled routes out to the TEC on the weekend, although it is available on Friday. Please check the Saluki Express site for bus scheduling.
Air
The nearest major airport is Lambert-St. Louis International Airport located about 140 miles northwest of Carbondale, Illinois in St. Louis, Missouri.
From Lambert, you can take a regional flight to Williamson County Regional Airport, located about eight miles east of Carbondale on Highway 13.
You can also choose to take ground transportation from Lambert. Options are listed on the airport’s website at:

The BART Shuttle Service provides van transportation to and from Lambert daily as well.
Train
